This is the end of the introductory storyline! We’ll have a couple of shorter storylines in the coming couple months.

Our lives are rather busy but not particularly exciting right now. Lots of time spent with the tax department, who are actually rather helpful in New Zealand. Running a small business and working as an independent contractor is rather difficult in that regard. I’m becoming a master of Google Spreadsheet though. I am glad to be rid of Excel and OpenOffice, which routinely brings my poor little Macbook to its knees.

We’ve been up all night finishing the book, it is about 10am now so we are itching to get to sleep. Many apologies for it not being a full comic, but this one actually fits into the story. You will receive a full story page tomorrow!

Becky is working really hard on finishing the comic book up for the summer. We’re really excited about the impending convention season. If you are around New York, Charlotte and San Diego, we hope to see you there!

By the way, we have some Animal Crossing City Folk pattern designs for anyone who wants a new flag for the town. We have one of Mewsli, Hootenanny & Tigerbuttah. Most look a bit odd as shirts (and awful as hats). As flags and designs on the ground, they look rather fetching!

We have a guest comic available over at the old Dumm Comics. It is rad to be in such good company. Pre-orders on the shirts exceeded our wildest dreams. We probably won’t be doing black shirts again!

Also here is a brand new mixtape! There is a special, different comic tomorrow to ease you slowly into our illness (and convention) induced reduced schedule.

I have failed at making the mix go up today. I will rectify this tomorrow. Tigerbuttah returns then also!

Today I rediscovered The Sonics, they are a fine band. I named my childhood basketball team The Sonics. I did not name them after the Seattle Supersonics, but actually Sonic the Hedgehog.

I really have very little to say. I am going to go get some rest. Thanks for getting us to 500 fans on the Facebook page! I am done hawking that bad boy now. My ego is satisfied.

Becky and I have adopted a new healthy lifestyle. It is known as getting up at 8:30am and going for a walk. We also have refrained from violent caffeine abuse. I can not talk too badly about caffeine, for it is one of the many horrifying things we did to get this comic up on time. However, with producing the comic down to a near exact science, we are no longer killing ourselves with staying up till first 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am and finally… 8pm.

Yes, last week we stayed up till 8pm working on the comic.

Introducing Scraps, the local scrap pig at Honolulu Hound’s Restaurant & Bar.

Last night we slept four hours! Our cat is curled up in a cardboard box. Becky just finished working on a rad painting and we are going to go to sleep now. See you tomorrow with a Tigerbuttah comic!

This is our new regular THURSDAY feature. Yes, it is Friday. We switch the Tigerbuttahs around rather than miss updates. This is our one panel comics that will tide you over till the summer is over and will allow us to maintain our Monday to Friday updates. We are a bit ahead at the moment, for the first time ever, so maybe the comics will be coming out a little closer to the morning. Perhaps? Perhaps!
