It’s an exciting week for here at TKT HQ!
First up, today a special charity auction is beginning for a Becky original painting, with all the proceeds going to the Colbert Nation Gulf of America fund, which will provide some relief for the Gulf Coast region in the wake of the current oil spill. Thanks again to Carly for putting this project together.
We are also part of the Cloudy Collection, a collection of 8 nature themed letterpress prints. We’ve been wanting to work in letterpress for awhile, so we’re very glad to have the opportunity! Other rad people in the collection are Pen Ward (Creator of Adventure Time) and Lab Partners (one of our favorite illustration duos). Furthermore, a portion of the sales goes towards The Nature Conservancy.
We’re also off to San Diego in TWO WEEKS for the annual San Diego Comic Con. We are at the Monster Milk booth (#1234) every day with the Tigerbuttah Golden Book, new Tigerbuttah toys and both chapters of the Tiny Kitten Teeth Comic Book! We hope to see you all there!
Finally, the group pop-culture gallery show Crazy 4 Cult 4 opens this Friday (July 9th) at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. Becky has a painting in the show but sadly we can’t attend due to still being in New Zealand. However, host Kevin Smith will be there! Other amazing folks in this show include Kevin Tong, Scott C and Scott Morse, all people whose work we absolutely adore. It’s great to be a part of such an awesome show, we’re super grateful to the good folks at 1988!
