On Wednesday it was Becky’s birthday! We had a jovial time watching the original Winnie the Pooh cartoons and we’re glad to hear that they are finally getting the spiritual sequel they deserve (the 90s flicks don’t count).
We also watched Secret of Kells, a fantastic Irish animated film. If you haven’t seen that, it is well worth a look. The illumination artwork mixed with digital and watercolors is incredibly unique. It’s so refreshing to see more foreign animated features like this and Triplets of Belleville get attention.
