This one was meant to go up a couple days ago, but we ended up having our first veterinary scare with little old Mewsli (the real one), who at one year old had to have a tooth removed.
We felt like bad parents, but as it turns out he has a congenital disorder relating to his teeth, so our guilt is temporarily suspended. He will be switching from Hill’s Science Diet to Hill’s Dental Maintenance food and we’ll also have to start using the delicious Turkey Toothpaste on him.
He really did not enjoy this trip to the vet, the last two times he saw it as an adventure, this time we had to turn his cat carrier upside down to “coax” him out. We brought him home after his examination and he stayed fairly close to us, emitting an occasional painted meow due to his bad tooth.
He went back to the vet for his surgery at 7:30 in the morning and we’re just getting ready to pick the little guy up.
Updates over January will likely be a little lean due to continued work on the Tigerbuttah Golden Book. By the way, our Kickstarter ends in a week, which will be the last chance for cheap pre-orders.
Further delays in updates are expected due to the writing out and penciling of Chapter 3, as we really want the next chapter to have a more cohesive and consistent feel. I think it will be much better off for it.
