Happy Halloween! Down here in New Zealand, the old Hallow’s Eve isn’t celebrated so much. We opted for a trip to the comic store and a cafe lunch rather than attempt a poor man’s party. Not a single trick or treater arrived, nor are orange pumpkins really in season (and if they are available despite that, they are often sold pre-sliced). Sad times, indeed.
But less sad than that are the pictures Becky drew to stave off the sadness that comes from holiday cheer. Today’s comic is but one example, the other is a painted collage portrait of our friend Dr. Hastings‘ dog, Commissioner James Gordon.
Commissioner James is partaking in a contest of unbelievably high stakes and although we are a wee bit late, we wanted to throw our endorsement behind his campaign.
