This one is a bit late because Becky has been finishing up the cover for the current collection of Tiny Kitten Teeth. It is a 44 page comic book that we will be selling at conventions over the summer. We’re also selling the cover, which is a large 10.5″x15.5″ piece over on our store. We also have some smaller and more affordable 50 dollar pieces. Sold!

In other news, shirts are going to the printer in about a week, then will be immediately mailed out. So they should be arriving on some doorsteps by the end of May. Thanks again to everyone who bought one, the support was more than overwhelming!
Today the big cat in our home, Ella, caught a little sparrow. We were very worried about it, as it was splayed out on the ground with a rather hurt foot and what appeared to be a very hurt wing. Our cat, Mewsli (clever name, right?), was trying to play with it, as he isn’t actually co-ordinated enough to catch things. Becky whisked the bird away and warmed him up by the heater. I had a quick search around for bird rescue places, but most deal with only native birds. However, the Bird Wing (get it?) of the RSPCA said they would take in the little sparrow.
We had pretty much resigned ourselves to the little fellow dying at this point, but once we got to the bird sanctuary he had cheered up a little, or so it appeared. Apparently the wounds on the bird were superficial and the woman working there expects the little guy to make a full recovery.
We sold a couple of paintings over the weekend, so we bought some Cat Bibs for our cats. The cat bibs stop cats from pouncing on birds and apparently have an 80% success rate. Apparently it also helps with stopping them from attacking lizards, which has been a huge problem for us here in New Zealand. We will let you know how that works out for us.
Now, since it’s almost 8am, we should get off to bed.
