Welcome to Monday’s comic! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I led a life of leisure over the weekend, swanning about from late brunch (some would call it lunch) to early evening Smash Brothers with close friends. As a result, we are now pulling our usual ridiculous all-nighters to get the comics out on time (and more than that, get ahead for our impending return to the USA).
I spent some time at 8am a couple of days ago watching the film Surf’s Up. It was surprisingly good. What was once dismissed as a Happy Feet clone, it definitely surpasses anything I could have expected from it. Also Happy Feet is truly terrible.
It is quite hilarious how many CG clone movies come out. For every Nemo, there is a Shark Tale, and for every Shark Tale there is a Shark Bait. Any CGI fish movie clone where Rob Schneider plays ten parts is of course well worth your time.
