This one went on a bit late. Quite a whirlwind of a day really, if you’d care to hear about it.
We went to the midnight premiere of Watchmen, which was fantastic. To say anything else would be awful nitpicking. If you want a taste of how bad it could have been, go to the Watchmen film’s Wikipedia page sometime, as they have links to the original awful scripts that involve time travelling, Rorshach disparaging someone for being French and having a trademark “snake-like hissing noise”.
Afterwards we crashed on some couches, before hitting up the radio show, which you all should be listening to (1-3pm New Zealand Time every Thursday on FleetFM.co.nz). The show was mostly improv as I’d left our iPod at home. Anyway, naps were had, we awoke around 7:30pm in time to do a 12 hour shift bringing this comic to you. Becky did most of the work, I just spent the evening sweating a lot and played dumb synthesized rock music.
We’re heading to Taupo later today, before heading on to the capital of our fine country, Wellington. I’m playing a show Saturday with my silly band Ice Cream Soldiers at Mighty Mighty. Mighty Mighty is my favourite venue in the country, so if there are any Wellingtonians reading, come along and make yourselves known.
As a result, e-mail will be a bit slow to answer this week, but I promise I will get to all of them. There will still be a new Tigerbuttah comic tomorrow, but otherwise I will see you on Monday! Thanks again for reading!
Aw dang, realised there are some apostrophe problems in the comic. Will fix those when I get back. Sorry!
