It has been about SIX MONTHS since the last page of our comic. I think our rate of production would be even upsetting to Aaron Diaz. But before we get into our usual apologies, we’re guests at the Thought Bubble Festival again in the UK! We loved it so much we just had to go back!
We’ve also updated our store with new originals, a couple of toys and a number of prints if you have the inclination to check it out.
But what have we been up to in this time? There was the issue of Capture Creatures, our giant project that wasn’t intended to consume our lives, but unsurprisingly ended up doing exactly that. There is Becky’s work on The Bear and we’ve been doing all sorts of fun jobs for people like Spongebob Comics, Adventure Time, Mondo Posters and a lot more. But things are beginning to settle down and I’m hoping we can get a couple more comics out this year and start next year off with a bang. Because we really love making this comic, but one can easily forget when you are out “paying the bills”. Though it’s tricky, because those projects are so fun too. But hard decisions are being made so we can produce this comic on a regular basis.
Thanks again for sticking with us. You’re all ok by me!

We’re going back to Leeds and we’ll have our brand new Capture Creatures book with us! We had a wonderful time last year and we just couldn’t stay away. You can find us at Booth 152 in the New Dock Hall area!!
So we will be at W23-W30 along the back wall with TopatoCo the entire time, but we will be venturing out of the convention hall every so often.
On Saturday from 2:30pm til 3:30pm in the White Flint Auditorium, Frank will be a part of the Australian and New Zealand comics panel!
Then on Saturday night we will both be presenters at the Ignatz awards, where everyone who wins gets a brick and a couple of free drinks (as well as maybe a dip in a chocolate fountain).
So come say whats up, see us say some dumb things and take a look at the brand new Capture Creatures book! Hooray!
We’ve been pretty quiet since the Capture Creatures gallery show (and our server went down for a couple of days), but we’re back just in time for San Diego Comic Con! This year we will be boothing with our friends at Gallery Nucleus, alongside Olly Moss, Mike Mitchell, Scott C and Kazu Kibuishi. We’re super excited and we have two brand new debuts at the show. The first is our limited edition hand-painted Egglue the Giraffe resin toy by Pretty in Plastic. The second is the 24×36 inch Capture Creatures poster featuring all 151 creatures! We will also be bringing some original Capture Creatures paintings with us as well as the Tiny Kitten Teeth hardcover collection, B9 Kingdom art books and a bunch of brand new prints. It’s going to be our biggest show ever, so pop by and say hi at booth 2743! We’ll be there Wednesday through Sunday.
Also a new Tigerbuttah will be up Tuesday the 16th!
We are off to Vancouver again as we are guests at the radical Vancouver Comic Arts Festival! We will be tabling and have all our books etc… but we will also be on the all-ages comics panel on Sunday at 4pm!
We have been working hard on Capture Creatures for almost a year and a half now. With it coming towards its conclusion, we are releasing a 330+ page hardcover book containing all of the creatures. Naturally, we decided to do this on Kickstarter with our company B9 Kingdom! Back it now and get the book shipped to you for the lowest possible price (this thing is a dang brick, so we are taking a big hit on the shipping)!
We will be holding a gallery show and book pre-release on June 1st at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles, CA at 7pm! We will be there signing, all 151 paintings will be on sale, with surprise new art, our first resin toy and musical guests (as well as drinks and snacks). If that sounds good to you, RSVP on Facebook!
